Egypt's manager takes his anger out on an innocent camel

Hassan Shehata claims he doesn't want Israel job. Does he mean it?

We all know that when it comes to it, a manager will bugger off to the first team that offers him a better deal. Despite constantly preaching the virtues of loyalty to the players in their charge, they will ditch their club quicker than that cage fighter will divorce Jordan, once he finds out she is riddled.

Not only that, when a manager jumps ship, he usually does so on the back of heartfelt protestations to the contrary, as these recent examples show.

Owen Coyle informed the Burnley faithful: "I have nothing to say on any speculation (linking him to the Bolton job). It's only speculation, that's all it is. I only want to focus on the job I have here and concentrate on preparing my team to stay in this division."

He joined Bolton soon after.

And who can forget old 'Arry's emotional statement about the speculation he may quit Portsmouth. "This is my club. I had the opportunity to leave a while back for Newcastle but I knew this is where my heart is. I love my job, I love living in the area and this will be my last job in football."

He joined Tottenham soon after.

After being recently approached by Israel about becoming their national manager, Egypt boss, Hassan Shehata, has claimed: "How can these Zionists think I would take on the task of coaching a side that includes murderers of children and pensioners. From the moment I was born I have been hearing about the Israel that murders, that bombs, that levels towns and villages - but this is the first time I have heard that Israel play soccer. I would not coach Israel if they were the only team that wanted me. I would not even visit Israel. In fact, I would rather die of hunger than entertain the possibility of coaching Israel."

Ok, on this occasion we reckon this guy might actually stay where he is. Call it a hunch.
