ToePoke hack in Adobe Photoshop show-off shocker...
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and all that...
In case the intelligent chaps and chapesses who read this dear blog aren't aware, the "first lady of football" Karren Brady has been writing a weekly column for The Sun for a few years now, called the "Brum diary" (see what they did there Hunter S Thompson fans?). Here are our favourite bits:
3rd February, 2007: The Sun, "Hammers are Ugly Betty" (see above and read it all here)
"No doubt West Ham feel they have done a clever piece of business buying Matthew Upson from Birmingham. I don’t think it’s clever at all. The truth is I feel as if we have been mugged...So what are the FA doing about illegal approaches to players? Sweet FA...The Upson affair was no auction, I can tell you...with each hike came tightening pressure by way of the Press, the hangdog player and his Mr 10 Per Cent."
"But the Hammers aren’t top four material or anything like it. This week they are Ugly Betty."
"I wish Matthew well at Upton Park and I’ll give him a wave if we pass them by."
3rd October 2009: The Sun, "Karen Brady's Brum Diary" (read it here)
"MOST people will applaud the FA's decision to charge West Ham and Millwall for the disgraceful behaviour of a number of fans at their match in August."
19th January 2010: The Sun, "Gold 'n Brady in Hammers deal" (read here)
"Gold and Sullivan, both West Ham fans, are expected to be unveiled as the new owners this lunchtime...One of their first moves will be to formally appoint Sun columnist Karren Brady as their vice-chairman"
Anyone else a tad intrigued as to how Karren plans to greet the "disgraceful" West Ham fans and, brilliantly, one centre-back by the name of Matthew "the hangdog" Upson?
