Meadow Lane: Theatre of Dreams

Notts County fans come up with a cracker...

It must be quite overwhelming to be a Notts County fan at the minute. No one gives a shit for a hundred years then suddenly every tabloid under the sun wants a story when a pervy Swede with a side-parting turns up. To be swiftly followed by an England international defender, who just as swiftly pisses off again when he realises he's playing in grounds made from Lego.

So it's nice to see that the supporters at Meadow Lane can retain their humour amongst the chaos. They won 3-1 today at home to the mighty Port Vale, and produced this corking terrace lyric, to the tune of The Killers' All The Things That I've Done:

"We had Sol, but he's not a soldier."

Simple, but genius nonetheless.
