By now you'll know that Chelsea have been hit with a transfer ban that prevents them from signing any players until 2011. By now you might also have just stopped laughing too. Unless you're Chelsea fans, but we're sure if you are then you'll be fine about it. And here's five reasons why:

1.Chelsea fans are renowned for being rational, chilled out beings, who won't get overly upset about all of this.

2.Chelsea have a young, vibrant squad who will still only have an average age of 26 by the time they can buy people again anyway.

3.It's not as if they have an owner with a lot of money.

4.Gael Kakuta is the next Ronaldo, so it's all worth it.

5.We repeat: Chelsea fans are cool cats.

Ah bugger. We've just realised that's all bollocks. Oh well, looks like Chelsea fans will have to scream "conspiracy" every evening to dullard radio hosts. Brilliant, just bloody brilliant...
